Scope of inspection
Skatepark elements assessed with an understanding of how the facility is used
- Concrete surfaces — cracking, spalling, pitting, lifting edges and failed joints
- Steel elements — coping, rails, ledges, plates, fixings and corrosion
- Transitions, flat banks and bowl surfaces assessed on foot and, where safe and appropriate, on a skateboard
- Drainage, low points and standing water
- Fencing, seating, shade, bins, signage and lighting within the facility
- Access paths, edges and the immediate surrounds
