Concrete skateparks are the most common forms of skateparks. Main reasons are they are strong, smooth to ride and can be shaped into any design. For concrete skateparks we generally use 32MPA concrete which is a higher grade than normal concrete used on driveways, footpaths etc. Concrete finishing needs to be done correctly from people who understand the smoothness and correct shaping of the concrete surface. There are sealants that are used alot on concrete skateparks that give a great smooth surface and protects the concrete more. Sealant can also come in different colours to give the skatepark a better look.
